“give the planet a break”(the Event) is an annual urban festival taking place simultaneously on multiple star-graded
Camping Resorts throughout the country. We use the outdoor experience of camping to promote a lifestyle of sustainability.
Let’s Camp- OUT, Eat -OUT, Live-OUT, Take Time –OUT, Chill-OUT and Go Lights-OUT.
primal fans (attendees) forgo a weekend of consumption for a camping weekend of good clean fun. This collective exchange is our effort to support a global move to save our environment and our planet.

Our Mission:
Our mission is fairly simple – get over 250 000 South Africans camping together. Well not on the same site – but simultaneously on different star graded camping resorts around South Africa.
It’s a national weekend of South Africans giving up normal living for a weekend of primal living. We hope to cut down on carbon emissions and raise awareness of environmental issues. |

Come One; Come All:
There are many ways you or your company can get involved: We offer different packages to suite all. Budget options available

primal Challenge – Family - This package allows family and friends to select a primal site (camping site) and have a fun filled weekend together. Biker clubs & Social clubs welcome; |

|
primal Challenge - Corporate – The Corporate Package allows companies, their employees and their suppliers to “pimp their primal site” or “ pimp their tents” in their company colours, logos and branding. This option is also available as good team building experience; |

|
primal Challenge - Promotions – Companies or organisations can promote their products to a capture audience for 3 days’ worth of exposure. Camping resorts can accommodate between 1000 – 5000 primal fans. Call us with your idea. |

When is the Event?
The event will take place on the 30th of November 2012 until 2nd of December 2012 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

What activities will be available:
Camping, cooking ,braaing, fishing, hiking, swimming, kids adventures, mountain biking, quad biking, boat riding, farmers marketing, craft markets, food stalls, live music performance and Much, much more. Please note some activities only takes place at selected sites.
